The North Bethesda Marriott Hotel is an addition to the existing
Montgomery County Conference Center. The project includes an
11-story, 225 key hotel, with one level of below grade parking, a new
luggage room, 4,000 SF of dining space, expanded fitness facilities,
and administrative spaces. Modifications required for the addition
include connections to the existing building, demolititon and
replacement of the existing basement floor, an added service elevator,
extension and demolition of the existing elevator machine room floor,
and access to existing below-grade parking. Gross floor area of the
hotel and its functions spaces totals approximately 120,000 SF.
