Montebello Balcony Repairs

This restoration project featured four 16-story residential buildings. The
repair program included concrete and waterproofing repairs to the
exposed balcony concrete surfaces and slab edges, as well as
building facades. The main goal of the program was the extensive
removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete and recaulking of all
balcony and facade horizontal and vertical expansion joints. The repairs
also included the installation of a new railing system at select locations to
bring the building up to current code requirements, the installation of a
corrosion inhibitor treatment and a urethane based traffic bearing
waterporrfing membrane system, and a protective acrylic concrete paint
on vertical and overhead concrete surfaces for long term protection.
